You are invited to attend and participate in the 25th Annual 

Ryobu-Kai Northwest Classic, to be held in greater Portland Oregon. The Ryobu-Kai Northwest Classic is a goodwill tournament inviting athletes in varied martial arts forms. This tournament has grown each year to include many martial arts athletes from the Western U.S. Our emphasis on goodwill, good sportsmanship and safety has made this tournament fun for participants and a pleasure to host. 


Registration Fee:

With Current Annual USA-NKF Membership (and Canadian competitors) 
$45 for one event 
$10 for each additional event 
$60 per three-member team

With One-Day USA-NKF membership 
$50 for one event (includes one-day USA-NKF membership) 
$10 for each additional event 
$60 per three-member team

Seminar Fees: 
$40 for each seminar 
$160 for all 5 seminars 

$20 Late Fee for Regestration at the door on the day of the tournament. 
General Admission: $5 per person – children 5 years and under admitted free

RULES: 
USA-NKF Rules of Competition 
Traditional white karate gi 
Kumite competitors must wear red or blue fist pads, red or blue belts, mouth guard, groin protector (males), and optional female chest protectors WKF Approved instep & shin protectors and facemasks are optional. Medical Insurance: 
All entries MUST be covered by medical insurance to compete. 
Secondary medical insurance is included as a benefit of th e USA-NKF Full Membership or One-Day Membership.
