 Sensei Michael O'Donnell is the owner and teacher of the Magnolia Karate Academy. He has trained in Hayashi Ha Shito-Ryu for over thirty years. He spent ten years directly under the tutelage of the late Soke (Grand Master) Teruo Hayashi in Osaka, Japan.
During Sensei O'Donnell's competitive career he placed first in several team and individual Kumite (fighting division) championships, including:
While in Osaka, Sensei O'Donnell taught in a private secondary school that specialized in sports training. He graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in political science. He now lives in his native Magnolia with his wife and two children. |
