Hayashi-Ha Shito-Ryu is a form of traditional karate. The roots of traditional Karate lay deep in the history and culture of Asia. Its more recent origins can be traced from the island of Okinawa to Japan, where it became systematized for modern use. The art of Karate now has millions of practitioners worldwide.
While Karate is a highly effective means of self-defense, its unique benefits lie in its balanced approach to both physical and mental development. Karate training provides a solid foundation for the development of character, ethics and strength.
Our Mission:
The mission of the Magnolia Karate Academy is to provide classical instruction in Hayashi-Ha Shito-Ryu, a style of traditional Japanese Karate; as well as guidance on the ethical use of karate in everyday life.
